Katherine Eversberg
Head of School
Mrs. Eversberg graduated with a degree in education from Baylor University and began her academic career teaching at NEISD, right here in San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. Eversberg further honed her teaching expertise at the San Antonio Academy before progressing her journey in educational leadership as the Assistant Head of School at St. Davids. An accomplished educator and leader in academic institutions, we’re extremely proud to have Mrs. Eversberg at the helm of St. Andrew’s, where she continues to inspire and guide students and faculty toward educational excellence.
Elizabeth Garrett
Director of Admissions
Elizabeth Garrett, with two years at St. Andrew's and a rich background in children's ministry, is inspired by the quote “Have courage and be kind. Where there is kindness, there is goodness and where there is goodness there is magic.” She values the school's mission of building strong, purpose-driven individuals through foundational biblical truth, ensuring students are prepared to face life's challenges with faith. Originally from New Jersey, Elizabeth came to Texas for a Christian University and Country Music! She met her husband in college and they now have three daughters, who are also students at St. Andrew’s.
Anne Lee McDonald
Operations Manager
Anne Lee McDonald, with 24 years of experience, cherishes the strong sense of community she shares with both families and staff at St. Andrew's. Inspired by Philippians 4:13, she believes in persevering through challenges. Her deep connection to the school is also personal, as both of her children attended St. Andrew's.
Hannah Beever
Special Events Coordinator
With about four years of experience, Hannah Beever values being part of a community of like-minded individuals dedicated to serving God's kingdom. She finds inspiration in Isaiah 43:18-19, embracing new beginnings and trusting in God's guidance. Interestingly, both she and her husband share unique similarities—they are left-handed, born in April, and the youngest of three siblings, each with two older sisters.

Janie Araujo
Preschool Teacher
With 33 years of experience as a preschool teacher, Janie Araujo draws strength from Philippians 4:13, finding peace in worshiping God with her students. She values Psalm 28:7 for its message of divine strength and protection, and enjoys listening to music, fishing, watching movies, reading, and singing, (even if her singing is off-key)!

With a rich background of 12 years in public school teaching and extensive experience in preschool education, Anne Guerrero is deeply committed to fostering a love for God and neighbor. Grounded in Proverbs, she believes in committing all endeavors to the Lord for success. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys hands-on activities like gardening, cooking, and house projects, reflecting a love for creativity and care in all aspects of life.
Bertha Luna

Bertha Luna, with 17 years of experience in preschool education, cherishes Albert Einstein’s insight that "Wisdom is not a product of schooling but of the lifelong attempt to acquire it." She delights in witnessing her young students grow and learn about God, guided by the comforting words of 2 Corinthians 4:16-18. An enthusiastic former jujitsu competitor, Bertha brings a unique energy to her teaching.

Preschool Teacher
With 11 years of experience, Kerri Prince embodies the spirit of St. Andrew's, cherishing everything from the vibrant community to the loving children. Her dedication is rooted in Matthew 22:37-40, inspiring her to love the Lord wholeheartedly. Outside of school, Kerri finds joy in beach outings, camping adventures, and fishing trips.
Norma Wilson
Preschool Teacher
With 10 years of experience in preschool, Norma Wilson draws strength from Philippians 4:13, believing that she can do all things through Christ. She cherishes the warm greetings, chapel time, and the love she feels for the children. Inspired by Matthew 5:16 to let her light shine, Norma enjoys dancing, roller skating, and sharing laughter.

Maggie Carr
Lower School Teacher
Maggie Carr, a passionate teacher of 1st and 2nd grade math, science, and social studies, brings twelve years of experience to St. Andrew’s. She deeply values starting each day with chapel and cherishes the strong connections with families, students, and staff. Guided by Proverbs 3:5-6, her favorite verse, Maggie is also inspired by the quote “God doesn't call the equipped—He equips the called,” and enjoys cheering on the Red Raiders in college football each fall.
Ginna Crocker
Lower School Teacher
Ginna Crocker, a dedicated Kindergarten teacher with six years of experience, thrives on the dynamic and supportive environment at St. Andrew’s. Her favorite part of the job is the people—students, parents, and colleagues alike. Ginna is inspired by Proverbs 3:5-6. Fun fact, she likes to watch bull riding in her free time!
Hannah Peacock
Lower School Teacher
Hannah Peacock, who teaches 1st/2nd grade ELA, finds joy in watching her students grow both in their academic journey and in their faith. Her guiding quote, “Everything will be alright in the end. If it is not alright, then it is not The End!” reflects her optimistic approach to teaching and life. With 8 years of experience, Hannah cherishes the opportunity to blend learning with faith, and enjoys reading and outdoor adventures with her family.
Cyndea Sampson
Lower School Teacher
Cyndea Sampson, who teaches Math and Science to 4th and 5th graders, is entering her fifth year at St. Andrew’s with a rich background in working with children. She thrives in the family-like atmosphere of the school and is motivated by the belief that “Circumstances don't define you. They shape you,” as quoted by Julie Barbera. Inspired by Isaiah 30:21, Cyndea enjoys playing games with others and looks forward to each day with students, staff, and parents.
Jennifer Soto
Lower School Teacher
With 24 years of experience teaching Pre K 4, Jennifer Soto finds strength in Psalm 55:22, trusting that the Lord will sustain her. She deeply values the Christ-centered community at St. Andrew's, where fellowship and shared faith guide their work. Inspired by Psalm 118:1, Jennifer also contributes to a competitive cheer program, CheerABILITIES, for athletes with disabilities, embracing the opportunity to give thanks and support.

Jennifer Allison
Upper School Teacher
Jennifer Allison, who brings 23 years of experience in teaching math and science, cherishes the unified mission at St. Andrew’s to nurture students with hearts for Jesus. She finds inspiration in the quote, “To love another person is to see the face of God” from Les Misérables, and is guided by Romans 8:28, which reminds her of the greater good in all things. Jennifer also loves traveling to the beach whenever she can.
Trey Guinn
Upper School Teacher
Trey Guinn brings a wealth of experience to his role as Upper School Bible teacher, with a deep appreciation for the virtue of gratitude, as taught by Cicero. His career in education spans nearly two decades, starting with teaching college courses at Baylor University and continuing at institutions like UT-Austin, St. Edward's, and Concordia, before settling into a tenured professorship at UIW. Trey's lifelong commitment to wisdom and humility, as embodied in Proverbs 15:33, guides his teaching. He also shares a special connection with Katherine Eversberg, the Head of School, with whom he has a long-standing friendship dating back to their college days.
Priscilla Power
Upper School Teacher
Priscilla Power, an English and Reading teacher with 32 years of experience, finds joy in integrating her faith with her passion for the English language and reading. She values the opportunity to teach the Word while sharing her expertise and believes strongly in the verse, “I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). Having visited 36 countries, Priscilla embraces a global perspective in her teaching and cherishes the vibrant community at St. Andrew’s.
Bobby Zander
Upper School Teacher
With 34 years of experience in teaching history, Bobby (Coach) Zander is guided by the belief that "Some day you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again," a sentiment echoed by C.S. Lewis and Albert Einstein. He values the special work God is doing at the school and the collective effort of the staff to seek His guidance daily. 2 Corinthians 5:17, which speaks of becoming a new creation in Christ, is a significant inspiration for him. At home, he enjoys the company of a pet cockatiel that cheerfully says goodbye to him each day.

Randy Osborne, with 32 years of experience, finds great fulfillment in the family atmosphere at St. Andrew's and its vision for holistic student development. He embraces the belief, “Your talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God,” and is inspired by Colossians 3:23, which encourages working with heart as if for the Lord. An interesting fact about Randy is that he shares a birthday with his wife.

Music
Ruth Berg, with over 25 years of experience in teaching music, shares her deep love for both Jesus and music with her students. Her favorite quote, “Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord,” reflects her dedication to infusing faith into her lessons. Known for her burnt cookies, Ruth treasures the joy of making music and teaching with passion.
Kalen Sledge
Curriculum Coordinator/Librarian
Kalen Sledge, our Curriculum Coordinator and Librarian with 22 years of experience, thrives on working with a community that shares a love for Jesus. She finds inspiration in the Confucius quote, “Tell me and I will forget, show me and I may remember, involve me and I will understand,” and values the profound message of John 14:1-4. Outside of school, Kalen and her husband run a small vineyard, blending their passion for education with their love for viticulture.
